Riot Games CEO Değişimi: Nicolo Laurent’tan Dylan Jadeja’ya

Nicolo Laurent, the CEO of Riot Games, is stepping down from his role and will be replaced by the company’s current global president, Dylan Jadeja. Laurent, who has been an integral part of Riot Games since the company was just a “40-person startup” in 2009, took over the CEO position in 2017. During Laurent’s leadership, Riot Games was accused of creating a sexist “brother culture”, and Laurent personally faced sexual harassment allegations from a former executive assistant (and was later cleared).

Following his departure from the CEO position, Laurent stated that he will be transitioning into a consulting role to focus more on his family. The CEO transition is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

In an open letter, Nicolo Laurent said, “While this news may come as a surprise, the decision has been something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I’ve had a long and wonderful journey with Riot.” Additionally, he stated that he plans to remain at Riot in a consulting role in the “coming years.”

The new CEO, Dylan Jadeja, stated that Riot Games will not deviate from its goal of being the most trusted and authentic gaming company and said, “We will continue to build the company for players, by players.”

In 2018, Riot Games settled a discrimination and harassment lawsuit filed by eight former female employees for $100 million.
